AAAAHHHH!!!!!! She’s Mobile!!!!

December 8th, 2011

So, Lexi started crawling this week. Looks like it’s time to start baby-proofing the house. and dogs. and cat. Videos posted on Youtube here and here. Also, she got to meet the big guy with the red suit and white beard. Not Grampy, Santa. Video of that is up as well here, and photos should be up tonight or tomorrow.

Time to give thanks

November 26th, 2011

It’s that time of year again. The time that we all sit down and think about all the blessings we have been given. This year I am especially thankful for my growing little family. My beautiful daughter and wonderful wife mean the world to me. As we move into the Christmas season, we start to get into the spirit of giving and joyfulness. I pray that you may find peace in your lives as I strive to find it in mine.

This thing still on?

October 31st, 2011

Haven’t posted here in quite a while. I have been updating the pictures, however. This should still cross-post to my FB, but Google still hasn’t release an API to allow cross-posting to G+ so I’m still manually updating that for now. Anyway, Halloween photos of Lexi added tonight. Hope you like them!.

A Star is Born

May 7th, 2011

I’d like to officially announce the birth of Alexis Grace Smith, our new daughter brought into the world at 1:15am on Tuesday morning 5/3/2011. She weighed 6lbs 2oz and was 19″ long. I have been mostly off the internet save for my phone this week so please excuse my tardiness. Lexi is perfectly healthy and completely beautiful. Tammy has become a wonderful mother and is doing a great job. We have had several sleepless nights so far and look forward to more in the coming weeks/months. I have posted pictures here that many have reqested. In addition there are several on FB that have been sent from my phone. If anyone needs a higher-resolution photo just let me know, I can get it to you.

On another note, I would like to thank everyone who came to visit us in the hospital or sent wishes to us this week. It is greatly appreciated. It means a great deal to Tammy and I to know that we have such loving and caring friends. We love each and every one of you as well.

Keep watching my site for more pictures to be added as I’m sure there will be many opportunities for photography :)

Thank you all again

Shane

I’m dying here…

March 1st, 2011

So, those who know me know that I am overweight. I’ve finally decided to do something about it and have started the Couch to 5k program. Basically it’s a program that gradually takes a couch potato like me from the couch to being able to run a 5k. I did my first session this morning before work and it just about killed me, not to mention that it was COLD. Hopefully next time it won’t be so bad. wish me luck!!!

New phone, new pics and new hockey season!!!!!

October 14th, 2010

As some of you know, last week I got a T-mobile G2 to replace the aging G1 that I had. I am totally loving this phone. It is better than the G1 in every way, including the camera, which I used for some of the new pics that are up in the from_phone folder.

As you may notice, a few are from the second (our first) game of the 2010-2011 UAH Hockey season!!!!!! We didn’t sit in our normal seats thanks to Chris King (thanks again) who gave me tickets on the ice next to the president’s boxes. It was great seeing the action from down there and I would love to do it again some time. Anyway, Enjoy!

Star Wars!!!

New blog!!!!!

June 24th, 2010

I’ve been wanting to do this for a while now. I’ve added a blog to the main page of the gallery. This gives me a place to talk about additions to the site and changes and other various things I want to talk/rant about.

More changes are in the works, mainly style changes, cause obviously this looks ugly right now… Tammy’s working on it.

Also, big thanks to Kris Stanton for helping me getting this working!! I owe you a beer, or something.
